Abstract:

Neuroresearch method is a combination of qualitative and quantitative research. It has been developed since 1995 until recently in the research program of master and doctorate degree. The paper introduces a deep and integrated effort of how to coordinate both quantitative and qualitative method and apply it in the field of social science study. Social Science research is complex in nature and the study of their theories is interdependence. Thus, Neuroresearch Method is designed to simplify the findings. The analogy of Neuroresearch is like the complexity of human neural arrangement which is interrelated just like the interdependency of the study of social science theories. Neuroresearch stages are as follows: (1) implement exploratory research (qualitative), (2) implement explanatory research (quantitative), and (3) implement confirmatory research (quantitative). Exploratory research is a theoretical study of finding theoretical construct. Explanatory research attempts to find the most dominant dimension and/or indicator which construct dependent variables while confirmatory research attempts to find the dominant background category to construct dependent variables. Construct Validity is analyzed by using PCA and reliability Index with Alpha Cronbach or Omega formula. The final result of Neuroresearch method is to find a fixed model as the basis to establish the research implementation which composes of: (1) policy, (2) strategy and (3) latest and future efforts to fix the dependent variables being studied.
