Research Areas and Research Roadmap

RIG D-LAB aims to accommodate and realize interdisciplinary researches for the creation of Society 5.0 which is befitting of Indonesia’s ambition and national character. The components of Society 5.0 that RIG D-LAB aim to fulfill include:

• Digital language education and training
• Digital behavior towards sustainable commodities and industries
• Digital behavior in sustainable urban communities
• Digital health and well-being

As a result of these components, RIG D-LAB’s roadmap from the year to 2023 up to 2030 is as follows:

• 2023-2024; Team building: inventing models of empathic technologies for productive and happy society.
• 2024-2025; Sustainability: implementing and reinventing the existing models.
• 2026-2027; Impact: proposing the models for pentahelix collaborations.
• 2028-2029; Development: advancing and proposing the models for nationwide implementations.
• 2030; D-LABB: realizing D-LABB (Digital Language, Brain and Behavior Immersive Laboratory), D-LABB’s conference, and D-LABB’s journal.
