The visit included Nur Sitha Afrilia, S.S., M.S., Research Coordinator at BINUS University @Semarang; Gadis Febriani, S.T., M.Ds., a faculty member of the Visual Communication Design (DKV) program; and Kumara Pinasthika Dharaka, S.T., M.Sc., a faculty member of the Smart Industrial Engineering program. The team reviewed the existing greenhouse coffee-drying facility developed by the Smart Industrial Engineering team of BINUS University @Semarang. Prof. Bens highlighted the potential to enhance the facility with Internet of Things (IoT) technology for environmental monitoring and drying process optimization, helping improve coffee quality and consistency, increase the market value of locally produced coffee, and ultimately strengthen the income of local farmers through technology adoption. Wahyudi, the owner of Endemica Kopi, noted that the coffee industry offers promising opportunities and that Gunungsari has distinctive coffee beans with strong potential.
