This study was to determine whether computer skill affects students\u2019 achievement through the implementation of e-learning called learning management system (LMS). It was focused on grade 10 students for information technology (IT) subject. The study\u2019s cohort consisted of 182 students and was conducted in a private senior high school in Indonesia which already established e-learning in teaching and learning systems. Two instruments were used to capture computer skill and student\u2019s achievement. Computer skill was measured by utilizing a questioner that was developed by University of Atlanta. The questioner evaluated the student\u2019s knowledge of basic computer skill, Internet browser skill, e-mail skill, and basic word processing skill. Student\u2019s achievement was evaluated from all assignments which were developed by the school\u2019s IT teachers during the first semester of 2009\/2010 academic year. The main finding indicates that computer skill has a direct relationship with student\u2019s achievement through the use of LMS for IT subject among grade 10 students. Furthermore, computer skill score also can be used to predict student\u2019s achievement.<\/p>\n
