The International Conference on Eco Engineering Development 2019

From November 13th to 14th 2019, Binus University hosted the International Conference on Eco Engineering Development (ICEED) 2019. The annual event is a part of Binus Joint International Conference (BJIC) with the theme for this year is “Sustainable Environment, Engineering, Energy and Technology development”. ICEED 2019 was held in Lorin Hotel in the city of Solo, Central Java. The conference was opened by Prof. Tirta Mursitama as The Vice-Rector of Research and Technology Transfer and followed by keynote speeches from renowned eco-engineering experts.

Reza Rahutomo and Alam Ahmad Hidayat were representing AI R&D Center as presenters at the conference. Reza presented a research paper titled Data Annotation System for Intelligent Energy Conservator in Smart Building on the first day. On the second day, Alam continued to present the second paper with the title IoT Solution for Intelligent Pond Monitoring. Our partners from INSTIPER AIRICA and PSKN (National Coffee Science Center) also submitted two papers titled AI-based Ripeness Grading for Oil Palm Fresh Fruit Bunch in Smart Crane Grabber and Maintaining The Quality and Aroma of Coffee with Fuzzy Logic Coffee Roasting Machine. Both papers were presented by Mr. Bayu Samodro as the representative from INSTIPER.
