HitungIkan: Computer Vision-Based Automatic Chana Fish Counting

This project is part of a community service grant by BINUS University in collaboration with Darul Muzani Islamic Boarding School in Sampang, Cilacap, to develop HitungIkan, a mobile application for automatic Chana fish counting using computer vision and artificial intelligence. The application is designed to detect and count Chana fish directly from images captured using mobile devices, providing a faster and more practical alternative to conventional manual counting. Computer vision and deep learning techniques are employed to improve detection accuracy and support efficient fish population monitoring. The developed application is expected to assist the Darul Muzani Islamic Boarding School in managing its fish farming activities by providing an accessible, efficient, and scalable solution for automated fish counting.
