Submission Information

  1. The criteria for acceptance of the articles submitted for ICOBAR 2023 are originality, quality, and clarity of the content. All contributions must be based on original, unpublished research and will be peer reviewed. All authors bear responsibility for ensuring the quality and integrity of their submitted article(s). In addition, it is the author’s sole responsibility to secure permission to use figures or tables that have been published elsewhere.
  2. ICOBAR 2023 papers should follow the requirements of Publisher Guidelines. Complete author guidelines and instructions for conference papers can be accessed at: this link.

  4. All submitted papers must adhere to the ethical rules: https://www.e3s-conferences.org/about-the-journal/publishing-policies-ethics
  5. A maximum of two articles per author is accepted (regardless of his/her position in the list).
  6. We expect the article to consist of 5 to 10 pages-length in the form of Microsoft Wordfile or Latex (must include all references, figures, tables). Tables and figures should be presented in the article (not stored in separate files).
  7. Papers must be written in English. The author should ensure the clarity and the English language quality. To avoid unnecessary errors you are strongly advised to use Grammarly (or other grammar and spelling checker and other tools) and have the articles proofread by others.
  8. Upon acceptance for the conference and further publication, papers are subject to editorial review and revision. All papers submitted to ICOBAR are checked for plagiarism. Any suspect of plagiarism or data manipulation will result in automatic rejection and will not be invited to be presented in the conference.
  9. Please ensure that the following items are present:
    1. All authors should be identified and listed in the OCS and the paper. One author has been designated as the corresponding author with contact details:
      • E-mail address
      • Full postal address
    2. All necessary files have been uploaded:
      • Manuscript, include keywords
      • All figures (include relevant captions)
      • All tables (including titles, description, footnotes)
      • Ensure all figure and table citations in the text match the files provided
      • Supplemental files (where applicable)
    3. Other consideration:
      • Manuscript has been ‘spell checked’ and ‘grammar checked’
      • All references mentioned in the Reference List are cited in the text, and vice versa
      • Permission has been obtained for use of copyrighted material from other sources (including the Internet)
