The purpose of this study is to monitor the water levels at Katulampa dam. This research uses Arduino as the main module with microcontroller ATmega 328, PING ultrasonic sensor as a water height detector, and GSM module for communication media of water height data with short message (SMS) format. The device is run by platform cross Qt Programming compiler, which obtains the data saved to the database MySQL Workbench. The data obtained by experiments such as on a flat surface, calm water surface, rippling water surface and at Katulampa dam are in accordance with the purpose of the study with the precision accuracy by an average of 99.79% with a period of 28.95 seconds every single cycle.
