Abstract

Verification signature system is one of the security systems used to determine personal right in accessing certain resource or information. Signature considered to be a good identifies appliance, in which autograph cannot be stolen and loaned to others. The usage of this signature is very wide for example in badge, at banking, letters, and or important document, but usage it is also has challenge, that is forgery of signature. Article explores a design of an application program that is able to determine autograph whether can be accepted or refused, so that it can determine whether is the people is entitled to certain resource by using method of Hidden Markov Model. Examination conducted by collecting signature sample from some consumer. Evaluation conducted to measure system performance. At this system, it can be concluded that Hidden Model Markov method can be used for the verification of signature with accurate storey level of 87,77 % at tolerance range of 0.075
