Abstract

The entrepreneurial process in the family business is typical not just how the family business successor inherit the business and then problem solving in a typical management position, but also need to focused on human capital process such as: education and working experience and most importantly the successor must have the soul to become an entrepreneur to lead the family business much more successfully than before. For this article, I would like to focused on 4 (four) empirical research of Gartner (1985), Bruyat and Julien (2000), Sarasvathy (2006), and Shane (2003) and a case from how the regeneration of family business into third generation of family business successors in the Lippo Group, Indonesia to shown that setting up entrepreneurial process in the family business will lead to the great firm performance and achieve sustainable competitive advantage.
