On August 8th, two AI start-ups in Jakarta teamed-up to hold the second Indonesia AI Forum and invited the director of BDSRC, Dr. Bens Pardamean, as one of the panelists. CEO of Kata.ai, Irzan Raditya, welcome all panelists with up close and personal dinner and opening speech for all attendants. The forum was open for public and attended by tech enthusiasts from various backgrounds. Following Dr. Bens, the panel discussion enlived with Meidy Fitranto (Co Founder & CEO of Nodeflux), Dr. Hari Santosa Sungkari (Deputy of Infrastructure, BEKRAF), and Ichsan Adiwijaya (Principal Director, Head of Talent & Organization Consulting, Accenture).

During the panel discussion, Dr. Bens shared to the audience about on-going AI and Bioinformatics projects including coffee DNA sequencing, oil palm counting, and albumin of snakehead fish to accelerate post-medical operation recovery. Skillset and capabilities of future work force also mentioned as urgency in preparing human resources for Industrial revolution 4.0. At the end of the panel discussion, many attendants show their interest for collaborating their expertise in AI or Bioinformatics projects. The networking session went well as the attendants can catch up with the panelist in one-on-one conversation.
